My biggest shopping trip 2 weeks ago!

I had this posted on my facebook page and am now posting it here:

OK – Hang on this is going to be a whopper!
I had 8 hours of shopping with no kids so I made the most of it!

First stop – Meijer!
I went there on Thursday but someone had already cleaned them out of the Powerade Zeros and Glade plug ins. So I talked to the ordering associate and he talked to the Coke guy and they ordered me 10 cases of the powerade – 15 in each case!

So today I went to pick them up and also found 3 glade plug ins.
I did them all in 6 per transaction – they were so patient and amazing!
First transaction:
6 PA x .88 = $5.28 minus 5 x $.88 coupons (they were $1 off but computer doesn’t give overage – bummer!)
4 purex conc. detergent - $1.99 ea –four $.50 coupon ea = $1.49 ea (reg. @$5)
9 kraft mac n cheese = .33 ea
total - $10.04
received $4

second:

1 glade plug in - $1.79
minus $2 x $.88 coupons
minus $4 RR
total = $1.88
received: $4 RR and $2RR from glade PI

3rd and 4th:

6 x $1.25 minus six $2 coupons off each bottle
PROFIT $4.50 that I used towards mac n chees & detergent

Spend $20 in Pepsico – instant $5 savings – I goofed & was short $2 & only got $1 off – BUMMER!

2 Old orchard juice – BOGO minus two $1 off coupons = $1.89

2 Huggies Clean team wipes $2.99 ea minus $3 coupon = $1.50 ea
10 mighty dog can food – 60 cents each plus ten $.60 coupons = 10 FREE
2 beach nut baby food jars - .79 ea minus FREE COUPON for 2 = 2 FREE
OUST air and surface spray 2/$7 minus BOGO coupon of $3.50 and $2 off = $1.50 for 2
2 Pantene – clearance $2.99 ea minus $2 off coupons ea = $.99 ea but also had 1 FREE Pantene hair product coupon so got hairspray FREE (forgot 2 use my second on)
total savings - $170.32
total OOP = $34.77 (but will get $10 back in MIR)

Now on to WAGS: - I had a truly great cashier and Manager – they helped me understand some of the RR and broke up my orders into MANY transactions – I goofed on some, so I didn’t MAKE as much as I could have but still did pretty good!

6 Crest Pro Health mouthwash $4.49 (did separately)
Minus .75 coupon
= $.76 PROFIT ea after $4.50 RR

My husband loves beef jerky & they had on sale
2/$7 and I got 8 minus $5/$20 WAGS coupon
and minus eight $1 coupons
minus $10RR from Robitussin
total = $5.08

6 reach ultra clean tooth brushes – 2/$5 (I did these in groups of 2 per Trans)
minus six $1 coupons
received six $5 RR
= $6 PROFIT

3 Robitussin 3/$15 minus three $3 coupons I still had left
= $6 and received $10 RR
= $4 PROFIT

buy 2 nabisco cookies 2/$5 and a milk $2.99 and receive $3 RR
(I did this 3 times and 2 of the times I did not buy the milk – until manager reminded cashier and she even didn’t make me on the second time but I did on the third)
so 4 pks of cookies = 50 each and 2 pks for $2.50 ea plus free milk

glade oil candle $5.99 minus $2 ES coupon and $2 man. Coupon plus will use in rebate book = $.99
2 glade double scented oil refills - $4.49 ea minus two $1 ES coupons and BOGO coupon (she only took off $3.49 after Wags coupon) plus will get $2 ESR = 4 refills for $2.49
3 large Fructis sham & conditioner
$6.99 ea minus three $3 ES coupon and three $1 manu. Coupon
plus will get some back from sept. rebate (I think $10)
3 Dimetapp 3/$15 minus three $1 coupons received $10 RR = $2 for 3 bottles

2 Glade Fabric sprays $3.99 ea minus two $1 coupons (I didn’t have the $1.50 coupons) and $1 off ea with ES coupon or rebate plus will get $2 back in ESR
and used the $5/$20 coupon with it and other things
$46.46 came off my Gift card from previous rebates
total OOP $10.89
and I still have: $49 in RR

Now to Dominicks Grocery store: (small order)
Buy2 bags of Tostitos get 2 free
Minus two $1 coupons
2 jars of Tostitos salsa – 2 coupons for free with purchase of 2 chips = FREE

2 bags of goodlife cat food $4.99 ea minus two $3 coupons

used $19 in ECB
Nivea for Men body wash $4.99 received $4.99 in ECB back = FREE
Did the nivea twice with sister’s card so one more bottle for free


Sorry for the length – I’ve never posted one like this before and am very thrilled!

Total for day not counting the Meijer above (but everything else)
$78.33 minus GC’s = OOP $21.87
but still have $49 in RR and $10 MIR = $17.13 PROFIT

SO for everything above (including meijer) I paid $20 after all is said and done - YEAHHHH
I am so tired but it is so worth it!
