FREE MILK and cheap cereal & more+

There are 2 deals that overlap each other at Jewel this week.  10/$15 Kelloggs and the milk deal. 

 

10/$15 Kelloggs deal= Buy 10 boxes of Kelloggs cereal, cereal bars, cereal to go, rice krispies, keebler cookies and I think a couple other items, you will save $10 instantly at the register making them 10/ $15.

 

Milk deal: 

Between 3/20 & 4/12, purchase the following qualifying amounts of Kellogg's Cereals (12 oz. or Larger, Mix or Match):

Buy (3) Boxes & Get 1 Free Gallon of milk
OR
Buy (5) Boxes & Get 2 Free Gallons of milk
OR
Buy (7) or more boxes & Get 3 Free Gallons of milk.

All Free milk coupons good on any brand, any flavor up to $4.69 per gallon.

~~the Kellogg's that overlap both deals are:
Applle Jacks
Frosted Flakes
Raisin Bran
Rice Krispies
so make sure that you have at least 7 of these in the 10/$15 kelloggs deal.  The remaining 3 items can be poptarts, cookies, or whatever else is in the 10/$15 deal.

~~ MAKE sure that the cereal is 12 oz or more. Some of the cereal is 11.5 oz and that would negate the milk coupons. The 11.5 oz will work for the 10/$15 deal but not the milk.

~~ And the milk coupons are good up to $4.69 BUT they will only take off the actual amount of the milk. A friend tried it and the cashier had to manually enter the price of the milk. And it does say ANY flavor so you could have fun with it and get some Chocolate!!

~~ the milk coupons are MANUFACTURER Coupons so they will take them expired!!! YEAH!!

another idea is
6 packs of cheese (4 must be 2%)
1 Kraft mac and cheese EASY MAC - $1
total - $13 + tax get $13 back!

You can freeze and refreeze shredded cheese - but not recommended for block cheese - it makes it crumbly after thawing - or you can shred the block first and then freeze it - or if crumbly is ok - freeze away. SO stock up those freezers!


update - the packages of 2% singles did not generate the $3 catalina - I did call them and will update this when I hear back from them.
Also - I did get 2 packages of the 2% string cheese sticks on sale 2/$6 - you can do an order like
2 pks of string cheese
4 pks of blocks or shreds
just make sure at least 4 packages have the 2% on them - to get the extra $3 cat.

AMAZING & BEAUTIFUL way to organize girls' hairbows

OK my friend from college posted this on her facebook page and I have absolutely fallen in love with them.

If you have little girls, you KNOW how much of a muddle those hairbows in baskets, drawers, boxes, etc can be.  I'm only just getting started in this category with my daughter Lexi (Alexia), but since I have 3 sisters, we went thru it ourselves.
Even if you do not have a little girl, I'm sure you know of one - niece, grand-daughter, friends' daughters - excellent for birthdays or baby showers, etc... I can hardly wait to get mine in the mail!  NO I'm not being paid to do all this :) - just from one WAHM (work at home mom) to another who loves to also support creativity and frugality!
