So sorry for delay in new posts - we had special meetings at our church last week in which I was very involved and then my daughter decided to share (FOR ONCE) her lovely cold with me - uggh! So between all that and trying to get caught up in my work at home and my business, this got put on the back plate for a bit.

CHEAP CHOCOLATE - this is for you Rachel :) - Walgreens Dark Chocolate Hershey's Kisses are on sale 2 for $4. Use the easy saver coupon for $1 off of two. Then in this weeks sunday coupons there is a $1 off one bag of Dark kisses. Get 10 bags for 50 cents each!!  Worked perfectly and the register should not beep. I know the coupon it states for a bigger bag of kisses but it still will work with no problem. HOLIDAY Bags ONLY!

Walgreens diapers this week BOGO - here are the steps!

buy 4 packs @ $8.99
- B1G1 sale =$17.98
-$2/1 Rx coupon = $9.98

So $9.98 for 4 packs ($2.49 pack)

Make it better by using W card and pay only 2.24 per pack.

Point out pg #52 in Nov. ES book. YMMV. May bring price down another $4

print it out. read it several times. Take it with you. I have written it out in very plain english. Please feel free to pass it on to whoever can be blessed by it. It has been exactly 3 months since the free diaper deal.

I challenge you all to donate some of your bounty to a chairty. It creates good coupon kamra to share.

Ok here we go.

1. Drive to walgreens. Don't know where they are Go here https://www.walgreens.com/storelocator/find.jsp

2. Go straight to the pharmacy and ask them about the "Walgreen's savings plan". Listen to their 2-3 minute verbal advertisement about how much money they can save you. Blah, blah, blah.

3. When they are done bending your ear they should offer you a coupon book. If they don't point out their sign that says ask about our savings plan get $50 coupon book. The booklet is red with white writing that says $50 in great
savings a thank you gift from Walgreens". Point it out if need be.

4. This is important. DO NOT CUT OR TEAR THE COUPON OUT. Fold the booklet so the coupon "$2 off comfort stretch diapers or training pants" can be scanned. It is in the middle pane, right at the bottom.

5. Now you have all the ammunition you need to get your diapers.

6. Go to the diaper aisle and locate the diapers. All Walgreen brand diaper jumbo packs will work.

7. Get the diapers you want. Can't find the right size, buy what ever they have and exchange them later for the right size. Are the shelves empty? Not a problem. Ask for a rain check. The diapers are on sale this week, but the coupon is good till 12-31.

8. Ok buy 4 packs (must be the same size) since they are B1G1. Let them ring up your diapers. Hold the coupon out for them to scan, point it out for them. If they try to take your coupons you may have to go through the pharmacy thing again. But, they are store coupons so they are reusable

9. Your total should be $9.98 for 4.

10. Now you can act all surprised and say wow that is a good deal! And ask if its it ok if to grab some more? Of' course they will say yes. But, you just got permission to clear their shelves off. But, please don't. Leave a few on the shelf for the next deal seeker.

11. Go fill your cart with diapers. Buy in groups of four as that is the limit.

12. So now you have diapers. Find a nice dry place to store them. The shelf life for diapers is five years if stored in a nice dry place.

13. When you get time buy the Walgreens prescription savings plan I talked about above (to get the pharmacy coupons). It costs $20, but it gets you 10% off your Walgreens brand purchases. That means all those diapers you have already bought. When you get your card you input your receipts and get 10% back.

The math works like this:

buy 4 packs @ $8.99 = $35.96
B1G1 discount - $17.98 = $17.98
$2 pharmacy book coupon (will scan $2 off each pack) -$8 = $9.98
W card discount -.99 = $2.25 per pack before taxes

FAQ:
Can't find the right size?
Buy the wrong size and exchange them later.

Totally out of all the diapers?
Get a rain check.

How do these diapers compare?
What I have heard is they are similar to Pampers & Huggies.

How do they sizes compare?
They run a tad smaller, so go up a size if unsure.

Do I have have to join the W Program?
No.

Do I have to join the RX program to get the coupons?
Nope you should only have to ask for them.

Which are the best diapers?
Several have reported that the light green are the best. YMMV

YMMV with this coupon and deal. It worked last time with three different coupons so this should be a breeze if you have the pharmacy coupon book.
